“Things will work out.”

  • Feb 7, 2008

Well, Romney is out of the campaign. The writing was on the wall but he was our guy, so I’m discouraged.

Calls have been going back and forth around the neighborhood and my dad called from California literally in tears.

But, ultimately my own decisions at home and in my neighborhood will have more impact on my family than any potential president. I choose to believe this; I have to believe this.

Whomever our new president may be, I will support in his/her good decisions. Partisanship will not blind me to their potential value as leaders of this nation. And I pray that they will offer the same courtesy and seek to lead all Americans.

As President Hinckley loved to say, “Oh, don’t worry. Things will work out.”

You are right on the money. Besides as they said on Marketplace tonight. The Republicans have a habit of nominating the number 2 guy the second time around. Ruth

Yes, it’s easy to get caught up this time of year, in an Election Year, with the thought that the apocalypse will come if this person or that person is elected. In the end, I do believe things will all work out one way or another. They always do.

I love that quote…in fact Nate told me those exact words this morning before he headed off to work. Whether its politics or issues with our families…things will work out!
