Gabriel

at 7.

1. sleeps with Baby Bear

2. takes Jedi Training very seriously

3. curls into my lap during family prayer

4. eats Frosted Mini Wheats every morning and carefully turns each square sugar-side up

5. sings and dances with wild abandon

6. refuses fruit unless under great coercion

7. insists on a chapter of Harry Potter every night

And only mom is allowed to call him Gaby-baby.

7 is a year of tremendous growth; the transition year between little kid and big kid. So I wonder which of these will drop off the list before he turns 8?

But some things never change. He will always be my charming, beautiful, creative, angel Gabriel.

loving the sunflare here

Happy birthday, darling boy.

That light saber fighting while holding a teddy bear is so symbolic of that transition you mentioned from little kid to big kid. I love your photos. You are such a great mom of lots of kids to really spotlight them for their own individuality.

what a handsome 7 year old. It is sad when they start turning from little boy to big kid. Great pictures- my boys would fit right in especially at a Jedi party (great idea- you are too creative)
awwwww…. I SO need to call you. Seems like the days are slipping by quicker and quicker as I try to get projects finished before this baby comes in hopefully less than 3 weeks. The 2 hour time difference also throws me off. BUT I WILL attempt today. Sorry for being a slacker in getting in touch. Hope life is good. Talk soon.

Those pictures are so beautiful, he is so beautiful! I’m sure somewhere between 7&8 he will not want to be called beautiful.
