they clean up your throw-up at 3 in the morning.”— Hans, 7 a.m.

Really, Erik cleaned up much more than I did, which is probably why he is on his way home with an angry stomach of his own.

Four down; let’s hope the rest of us can duck the virus.

I’m calling a carpet cleaner.

    Oh, dear.
    Hang in there!
(What a photo, what expressions on their faces. By the way, we have those same penguin pajama pants around here.)

Oh no! Sending many prayers for a speedy recovery for all. I can really see the sick in that picture. It may be the first time I didn’t see a light in your kids’ eyes. 🙁

    Not much fun.

We didn’t pass around the stomach bugs too often, because a woman with 10 children gave me a hint. If you have everyone who isn’t sick yet drink 8 oz. of grape juice, three times a day, they usually won’t catch it. Apparently, the ph of the grape juice is not conducive to the growth of stomach viruses.

It really does work, but you have to begin the minute someone is exposed. So it may be too late for this go round, but it might be worth a try anyway. In the future, though, the minute you know someone is exposed, have them do the grape juice, and keep it going for several days after the exposure.

And that’s my little gift to you!

    =)

Oh no – I have been wondering about you. Mystery solved. Yuck. I was hoping maybe you went to a spa or something. No such luck it seems. Positive healing thoughts to you all – and a professional puke cleaning service.

Seriously, there is not much worse than the stomach flu making the rounds. I’m so sorry, Michelle. I hope no one else gets it and that your carpet cleaners don’t cost too much.

The last run we had with a bug like that, I told my kids flat out that I thought mortality would be so much better if there was no such thing as a stomach bug.

So sorry you are dealing with it.

I’d give you a hug, but I don’t want to catch anything 😉 Oh my. I sincerely hope this isn’t one of those times where things get worse before they get better. Hang in there! Not fun – shakes head NO!!!!
