Hello my long lost friends! I’m done with school for the semester and ready to start catching up here. School was hard but lovely. I’ve spent the last week cleaning, working on my yard and conferring with Hans to create the best summer playlist ever.
In general, when it comes to blogging, I’m a believer in ‘start now and move forward.’ But I have three posts I simply need to write and hopefully I’ll get them all up this week.
General Conference always feels like one of the signposts of the year and of my kids’ lives. We always talk about where we were last conference six months ago, or last year. We track how many conferences until our missionary comes home, we look at old photos and see how everyone has grown.
This year, not only did Conference and Easter fall on the same weekend, but we were lucky enough to have Stefan, Heather, Hans and Lizzy here every minute and Ben and Sammie most of the time. We were only missing Xander and he’s exactly where he needs to be. Spring Break fell the same weekend, so our neighborhood cleared out and we wandered the empty streets feeling like the only people in the world.

Hello. I’ve never commented but I love your blog, thank you! I was wondering if you would share the summer playlist you come up with? I’m wanting to make one for our families upcoming road trip and I would love the ideas. Thanks again!

Hello, I found your blog through an article on Deseret News. It turns out that I know Erik- kind of. We grew up in the same ward. My maiden name is Young. He is just enough older than me that we didn’t really know each other. But I know his parents and love them. It was fun to see Fritz in these pictures. Thanks for making such a great blog.
