beauty and the blizzard

If you live in Salt Lake City, you’ll recall the enormous snowstorm last month where 34″ fell in just 12 hours. You might not remember the exact date, January 10th, but Whitney and Luke do– it was their wedding day.

Not every bride can handle horrid weather on her day, but the wind and the snow and the cold only seemed to increase Whitney’s beauty. Can you see how perfect these too are together? How gloriously in love? I love the way they look at each other. You can also see their gorgeous formals here.

Whitney and Luke, it was a pleasure to be part of your unforgettable day.

SO beautiful, Michelle! The couple, and your photography. Stunning!

I love Whitney’s dress. And her sparkle shoes. Sigh.

It just occurred to me that there are never photos of the ceremonies. Are pictures not allowed in the Temple? I imagine it is very pretty in there. 🙂

Gorgeous shots Michelle of a beautiful couple. My favorite is the fourth one, that is shot from below the couple looming up. Such a cool angle!

I have to admit I’m torn: I secretly wish that one of my kids would grow up to marry one of yours. But, if that happens, who would take the photos?!!!

Hey, a mom can dream, right? 😉

You are right, Melissa, we never show photos of the ceremony. They don’t allow any photography in the temple, and it is very beautiful! But our weddings are very, very simple and sacred and photos would really get in the way. You’ve just reminded me I need to write about this, and I’ll include links to the temple interior.
