Bits

Last night we gathered up books, pillows and blankets and trekked to Gabe’s school for “Drop Everything and Read” night. As we crossed the parking lot Gabriel saw another little boy his age and ran across the parking lot yelling “ATTACK!”

The two little boys proceeded to have a good natured pillow fight. As the battle ended, I asked Gabe, “So is he in your class?”

“Oh, I don’t know him. I just felt like doing that.”

This is Xander sleeping with his prize garbage can. Ben likes to weed out the “stuff” in his room periodically and puts it up for grabs. Xander put up quite a fight for this baby and wasn’t about to let go. He and Hans made a compromise and ownership will switch on the 10th of every month.

I accidentally called Hans a “rat” rather than “rascal” this morning and had to atone by playing a game of Uno before breakfast. The boy does drive a hard bargain.
