Today on what would’ve been my mom‘s 80th birthday, ❤️🎂🎉we celebrated with a hike to Cecret Lake, watching the little boys throw rocks in the water, eating raspberries, and admiring all the wildflowers. When my mom was dying, she said, over and over, “We have so much happiness ahead of us!” and she was absolutely right.
None of my daughters-in-law knew my mom, yet they took the time to hike with me and to hear stories about Grandma Zoe. Feeling especially grateful for all my lovely people today ❤️🥰
