Christine & Sam

I begged, pleaded and cajoled Erik’s cousin to let me take a few photos of her January 2nd wedding. Christine’s roommate covered most of the photography but graciously let me sneak in some shots. It was a completely grey, colorless day– but beautiful nonetheless.

I am surprised that they weren’t begging, pleading and cajoling YOU to take their pics!!!

    Those turned out great!

michelle i am still in awe about all your “self-taught” hobbies. from your amazing eye for photography (these are remarkable!), to your mad pic editing skills, to say nothing of your insightful writing ability. and all this with fourteen eyeballs looking to you for, well, everything. i really don’t know how you do it.

tomorrow i’ll be having a picnic lunch with bonnie, and remembering with fondness meeting you at last-year’s picnic. what an amazing year it’s been. you’ve had a clear and direct impact on my life, and i’m a better person for having met you. we celebrate you in the next week! ♥

I hope these are on your photo site. Brides will be begging you after one look at these. Breathtaking!

Sorry, not believing you. No begging or pleading could have been involved there. I bet they were thrilled beyond belief. Those are BEAUTIFUL!

Surprisingly, I don’t have a lot of regrets in life. But one of them is the lack of photos/lack of good photos at our wedding. We were married in the Swiss temple, so it was worth the lame photo outcome, but oh how I wish I had known you then and could have paid for your ticket to Switzerland. I would be so so happy to have even one or two beautiful pictures. Right now I have a half of one. It warms my soul everytime I look at that half of the photo.

Okay, enough of me being green. Did I mention those pictures are beautiful?!

Since I cannot go back in time and have you shoot pictures at MY wedding (if I could go back I would also change my hairstyle and colors at my wedding!) I suppose the next best thing is having you shoot the wedding of my sweet baby sister! : ) We are jumping for joy!

These are beautiful Michelle. Someday, I hope to be better self taught, like you. Or maybe you can just teach me.
