Ah, I’d love to tell you all about my compassionate, musical, well-read, strong, intelligent, under-the-radar, second son– but that might be obnoxious. So, one short vignette will have to do…
Every day, at 3:15 Stefan runs down the street to Mary’s preschool. He walks into her classroom, calls her by name and holds her hand as they traverse the parking lot. Once they reach the sidewalk, he lifts her into his arms and carries her all the way home.
Without being asked.
Or reminded(though on very rare occasions when he has something after school he’ll prompt ME to pick her up).
And maybe that tells you more about my boy than anything else.
We needed a pic of his rarely-seen, ultra-cool specs, but Stef gets a little nervous behind the camera so I sent Mary in to warm him up.
Notice the spiffy black eye he procured at basketball last night?
Happy Birthday Stefan(I’ll be home in a minute– thanks for getting Mary!)!
