first look

No moment is quite like the first time a groom sees his bride in her wedding dress. Since that moment would come in the basement of the temple for most LDS weddings, we decided to capture it a few days before the wedding for darling Lucy and Robbie. They were kind enough to indulge our amateur filmmaking ambitions and we loved creating this little video for them. Xander and Hans did most of the filming while I took photos and I love their creative eye– especially all the sunbursts and lens flare (which is why we just had to use Colbie Calliat’s ‘Brighter than the Sun’) I am absolutely in love with this sweet couple and after seeing their relationship in motion– I think you might fall a little bit in love with them too.

By the way, I probably wasn’t clear in my earlier post– Lucy may look like just another pretty face, but she’s headed to UCLA to pursue a 7 year PhD and Law Degree on full scholarship. Impressive, yes? More of these beautiful people here.

Gorgeous, fabulous, and I think Xander and Hans definitely have something good going on with this video. So perfect, and I love that you did the “first look” as a separate photo shoot.
