Wells sings along with every hymn ❤️

It’s not usually warm enough to swim on conference weekend, but it was 83 degrees!

The wooden pillar for our mailbox toppled over after twenty years of service, so Wells installed a new one

Cutting out a quilt for Larsie

Lars and Wells LOVED the children’s choir. Conference should ALWAYS have a children’s choir.

Madi– the master of fun– pulled out games on Saturday night 🥳

very, very serious about building

Wells spontaneously began singing “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing”– three verses!
Come Thou fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount, I’m fixed upon it
Mount of Thy redeeming love
Here I raise my Ebenezer
Here by Thy great help I’ve come
And I hope by Thy good pleasure
Safely to arrive at home

This was the day Fritzie flipped from “I love Lego” to pure obsession. He stayed for the afternoon session to complete his masterpieces and took an entire bucket home.

Admittedly, I heard very little of Conference in between making crepes and sandwiches, and fetching toys and art supplies. Still, in the weeks since, I’ve discovered some favorites. There were so many excellent offerings, but these are my top three:
God’s Favorite By Elder Karl Hirst
Welcome to the Church of Joy By Elder Patrick Kearon
“I Am He” By President Jeffrey R. Holland
Always one of the best weekends of the year ❤️
