Before you give me credit for hosting 32 kids at our house for Homecoming dinner, let me assure you– these boys did it all (well, mostly).

They held a planning meeting, organized every detail and pulled off a fabulous event.

My yard is NOT ideal for photos, but with 16 couples it made much more sense than going elsewhere.
Do you see an uncanny resemblance between Hans’ date and Stefan’s when he was the same age?

The glorious perk of hosting dinner? I was privileged to see more of these darling teenagers.

Paul donning an apron to keep his shirt clean.

Hans’ James Bond imitation.

Hamming it up for the camera.

Everyone seemed to have a good time, but no one more than Xander (with thanks to Hans who never shoos him away).
Just two more years, Xman, and you’ll join the dance.

I love that the girls look beautiful AND modest. That doesn’t seem to be the trend in my neck of the woods. (sadly)

Did you know I’m trying to convert my son into a stalker of your blog? 😉

I see a resemblance between Hans’ date and Mary! That was my first thought. Any chance you can tell us what food was served? I would love to know.
PS You are brave, but how very wonderful for you to host them all. I did that a few times, but not nearly as many!
Rachel
i want to be a mom like you!
Chocolate on my Cranium
Looks like it was a ton of fun!
