I wouldn’t have called it “fighting”

As Mary donned her pajamas last night, she asked sweetly, “Do you want to have our fight right now over what I wear to school tomorrow so we don’t have to do it in the morning?”

And yes, I agreed to let her wear this outfit two days in a row

even if there is a bit of minestrone soup on the skirt

even if it is 27 degrees outside.

Because it was hardly worth fighting over.

I heart you! So not worth the fight, is it? Miss Mary looks like springtime perfection. I love to see her spring wardrobe. She just looks like sunshine to me!

with three girls in our house, i completely understand raising the white flag in situations like this.

she certainly looks darling though, even two days in a row! ☺

I love a girl with a mind of her own, and that’s Mary. And nice job Mom picking battles…so not worth it on this one. I actually remember doing the same thing once when I was about her age. Mom looked the other way while I wore the same favorite blouse 3 times in 1 week, lol! I need to have a shopping trip with you so you can show me your favorite girly girl places!

I have no comment because it is Matilda Jane that you did not buy from me. So when do you want to fight about it?
