Once again, I’m determined to post here a little more often. Twice a month at least. I find myself wanting to post something truly wonderful (since I’m posting less) but I’m just going to settle for doing something… my next post will be truly wonderful. 😉
We planned this trip to Lake Powell even before Xander left on his mission– everyone in the family, all together, in our favorite place. We hadn’t managed a Lake Powell trip with everyone since 2010. And if you have adult children, you know the difficulty of arranging work and school schedules to get everyone in the same place at the same time.
The boat broke down the first day, so the trip became a work in creativity– card games, books and naps and sunshine; loud music and inside jokes, Frisbee, pulling each other behind jet skis and playing King of the Mountain on the tube.
Really, who could ask for more?

How do we know you were really there — you need to be in one photo!! 🙂

I know!! It was just too short of a trip. But I have some photos of me for our conference post. Thanks for reminding me to show up in my life. <3

I love all your posts, even if they are not all “truly wonderful” in your book. Thanks for all your insight!
