Sadly, I have no photos of the crepe feast or the massive fort. But happily I also have no photos of the broken dishes or the 5-star fight the boys had in front of their grandparents…

The most dominant thing I notice about your life v. mine is just the sheer amount of energy that exists in your family! You pulse with life and interactiveness in a way that is so foreign to me.
Even growing up in a brood of five kids, we didn’t play or interact like you guys do. So it’s seriously fascinating to see it, and a beautiful thing to behold.

PS: I always suspected that LBPKS was a righteous cat! 😀

Your family is so fun and I love the indoor pictures. So funny to see your kitty watching conference too 🙂

I don’t know what conference is but your family sure makes it look fun! How do you play the rug game? I think we need to try that in my house. 🙂
Claudia
Please tell me you weren’t calling me to come over for crepes or I’ll cry!
Love the picture of you with the kiddies, even if it is a little out of focus.
And Hans! Wow, what an awesome picture of those beautiful baby blues. I’ll have to show that to someone I know 😉

That conference sounds a lot more fun then our conference!!!

Every time I read your blog, I’m convinced I need lots more kids – your family is so much fun! Maybe fighting pictures and broken dishes would bring me back to my senses?

once again, you guys always look like you are always having so much fun! and is your dad really the owner of Rhodes? tell him i love him…
Annie
I love seeing your family in action. (And…hello? Drinking fountain in your house? Genius!) Looks cozy and lovely. Let’s petition for quarterly General Conference, shall we?

Life is Beautiful — another good Jason Mraz tune. I’m glad to see that your family enjoys the finer points of conference weekend too. After much cajoling, a few years back I was finally able to talk our local public access station into carrying conference so that we can watch it on TV. I do love it!

I love your blog, Michelle! I can’t believe how much older everyone looks besides you and Eric! I’m amazed at how youthful you two are while raising 6 children.
Also, your pictures are so incredible! Could we commission you to do a photo shoot for us sometime? Sean’s side of the family is in desperate need of an up to date family picture. I love the candid and vibrant feel of your photography.
