You know my sister is brilliant, right? Here’s an idea you’ll want to replicate.
Every weekend in the summer, Ruth and her talented friend Jordan put on a Phineas & Ferb Friday. They take a elements from a Phineas & Ferb episode and turn it into outrageous fun. P & F is TV for people who don’t like TV (it originates on the Disney Channel and we watch it on Netflix)– two brothers tackle an incredible project each day of the summer, entertaining their friends, frustrating their older sister and unwittingly foiling the evil Dr. Doofenschmirtz.
For our visit, my sister chose “My Fair Goalie” an episode where Ferb’s British cousins visit and they hold a football (soccer) game with a tea party in the center. We put our own twist on the theme by making silly hats and losing points in the soccer game if your hat fell off. Extra points for using a British accent and holding your pinkie high while drinking tea.
Betcha’ can’t watch without laughing out loud.

Darling. Though I wish there was some footage of you. Thank you for making the long drive to see us. We loved every minute.

Oh, brilliant isn’t a strong enough word! I LOVE the idea of a Phineas and Ferb Friday, and I think you two sisters are both, well, brilliant (maybe there isn’t a stronger word.)
Thanks for sharing the darling video, too.
Jordan
I love it! Such a fun Phineas and Ferb day and my girls are still wearing their hats. Thanks for documenting all the greatness.

I feel like I just watched the Empire Polo Club dress for a match! That was ridiculously clever! And you’re right. We laughed out loud. Can’t help it when Stefan ties Xander’s chiffon into a tidy bow while Julie Andrews sings “I feel pretty!” We introduced the girls to P&F while we were in St. George. Thanks for the entertainment today! xo
ps – the hats were incredible!
Tracy
Oh my word how fabulous! We LOVE P&F! xo

Erik and the boys are one in a million! I can guarantee that my boys would never don a hat and play soccer! What a great time you all had.
