Obviously I love to write but photographs tell stories beyond words.

This is our friend and neighbor Angela Dumke who suffered breast cancer last year. This photo was in the Deseret News Friday. It is courageous, shocking and beautiful.

And less profound, but pictures of Gabe, Mary and Hans after church today. Gabriel insists on walking home from church with me every week. Today it was snowing pretty steadily and at least a dozen people stopped their cars to offer us a ride. But Gabriel waved them all off and held my hand all the way home. My sweet boy:

But crazy Mary, who looked sooooo gorgeous today, would not cooperate. I know I shouldn’t torture the poor little girl but she is just so pretty that I want to capture those sparkling eyes.  Solemn and silly, that’s my darling girl. I love her eyes.
