Pigging out on Summer

Is it OK to say that this has been the happiest summer of my entire life? I love getting another chance(6 chances!) at childhood through my kids.

Despite not making it through our ambitious summer list(no zoo, no amusement park, poor Hans will be 19 before he rides the Alpine Slide) we DID have more than our fair share of hiking, boating, music, good books, silly jokes, road trips and a whole lot of doing nothing.

This past week we’ve been in a summer fun panic– floating the Provo River, hiking with friends, cooking over a campfire, boating and eating lots of corn and popsicles. The school bell rings Monday morning and although we’ll still fit in a few more hikes and cups of shave ice, summer must give way to the glories of fall.

I met Chelle through blogging and our kids LOVE each other.

the wildflowers are fading but sweet Emma is ALWAYS bright and beautiful

Enjoying Cecret Lake- Utah is full of fantastic kid hikes(1 mile round trip)

midget-skiing is the new big trend

I realize that Mary dominates the photos, but she is always right at my side.

fixing a tire is easy work with a family of boys

    Michelle,
Off topic comment, but I was in such a mood for Rhodes 60 second cinnamon rolls and when I went looking for them at the store was thoroughly disappointed that we live in the east and they don’t have them here!
On topic – I love your blog!
