Why am I here?
blogging.
I can’t help but worry that it’s a poorly veiled attempt to make people like me, to increase the luster of my little pool of light. And I wrote about that on Segullah today.
But still, there is so much worth sharing– laughter, heartache, a perfect ray of sunshine, brilliant smiles.
I ask myself constantly, “Am I writing about/photographing this because it has value or simply to make myself look good? Am I glorifying God or just myself?”
And some days I don’t have to question myself at all.
Because some moments
are simply
beautiful.

I believe YOU Michelle, you do share beautiful moments, and I love your post. I just don’t trust my relationship with the internet.

Reading your blog brings beauty and insight to me, so I really appreciate that you do it! I have thought the same thing about why I blog. And sometimes it is fun to just have a brag-blog… But really, it is because I want to remember the beautiful things that happen in my life and share them with others. And you do an amazing job of that on your blog. You are my blog-idol 🙂

She makes me smile. Thank you.

I randomly came upon this while searching for a random word on google today.
I have to say, the picture you posted brought one word to my mind: “bliss”
The little girl looks as if she is so in love with life and the little things. So independent in her decision to explore her world and her happiness to have someone give her that room to grow.
It’s such a spontaneous expression of “bliss.” A moment that shows just how much God gives us and loves us.
Thank you
