I’m not sure which Ben found more torturous, his doctor appointment in the morning (more about that tomorrow) or this photoshoot in the afternoon. He did get, not one, but two cupcakes out of the deal.

Rain drizzled on us the entire time and

And tonight I’ll snap a few in his cap and gown. Joyous, beautiful Graduation Day!

p.s. We listened to ‘The General’ by Dispatch over and over all the way there and home. Go take a listen. It’s a fitting song for a boy at the brink of manhood.

Ben looks like your mom when she was younger, which is little funny since I think you look more like your dad. Especially through the eyes — he looks like the young Zoe.

    What a handsome kid!

BTW, I just have to say, I love you. Your energy spills over through your writing. I have very little time to follow anyone’s blog let alone keep up on my own but I have to say yours is one that nurtures my spirit every time I peek in. Thank you for your example and your love of life and for your generous offering to a stranger friend in Austin Texas.

    🙂

A soon to be 1st grader and a high school graduate…where has the time gone???

I love the first picture the best. What a handsome young man. I think he looks a lot like Erik. Studly in every way.
