Sunday dinner

Not only do Kit and Kevin find a place for Stefan to stay in France, watch our children when we are gone and include us in every family gathering– Kevin’s parents have also taken us on, offering a shoulder to cry on, cheering for our successes and inviting us this week to Sunday dinner.

I believe that children with aunts and uncles and grandparents and friends who adore them are imbued with a potent sense of confidence; that love also serves as a powerful incentive to do good.

How grateful I am to their family for opening their hearts to us. And how glorious to spend an evening in their garden as sunset spreads the lawn with gold and laughter fills every pathway.
