C’mon my friends– you should know that any craft I attempt is going to be incredibly simple. These cute little headbands are the easiest-sneeziest little creation ever.
First, you go to The Lace Place at 2682 S. Highland Drive or call the darling owner Eleni Karahalios(isn’t that the most beautiful name you’ve ever heard? When you have a name like Michelle you tend to appreciate unusual names. And have you ever read the book Eleni by Nicholas Gage? I love that book. It changed my world.) 801-474-BOWS
Eleni is a hard-working mommy who is so nice that everyone that shops at her store feels like she is their best friend. I caught her at the end of a long day for these pictures so I promised I would blur her out– you can still see how cute she is.
And such a cute store. In addition to every ribbon, headband and silk flower your heart could desire, Eleni also has jewelry, home decor, baby gifts and squeaky shoes :).
So here is everything you need: 1/2 yard ribbon, one plastic headband, scissors and FABRI-TAC glue. The special glue is the most important element– any other glue will just make a big ole mess.
Simply fold the ribbon around one end, begin gluing and attach your ribbon to the headband. cut off the 2″ or so left over.
Now here is where the design goes from smart to brilliant: take the 2″ ribbon and make a little loop.
Now you can attach any bow you like to your headband. Since I am coordination challenged I have Eleni or my friend Jen make my bows. TA DA!
