the maturity level around here drops way down.
He yodels and tells stories and pretends to sacrifice Lizzy.
He’s bursting with stories of Jerusalem and Gilgamesh and floating in the Dead Sea.
Xander’s grateful to have a buddy for airsoft war and Lego battles.
Ben wants it known he does not love the puppy, but he tolerates her as a reading partner. Yeah, whatever.
As Lizzy says, it feels like balance is being restored to the universe with Ben in the house.
And we’re so grateful to have him home.

You don’t know me and I only know you through your blog so this may seem a bit weird to you but I have shown my daughter your family blog and have told her that she should see if she can find your son at BYU and get to know him because your family seems like a wonderful family to marry into plus she loves photography and sees the beauty in ordinary life just like you are able to do. See…they would be perfect for each other…if only they knew each other! That was just a little weird, right?! 🙂

Good to see the photos of Ben–and Lizzy. Ben’s looking more and more like Erik!

Welcome home Ben! Hoping for lunch with you and your Mom, so I can hear your Jerusalem stories. 🙂
