5:40 a.m. to 10 p.m.?
When you run from physical therapy to the sitter to Hansie’s dr. appt. and he asks–“Where am I going? The orthodontist or the allergist?
“No honey– the endocrinologist.”
And when you know you can get that photo shoot done and the violin lesson and tutoring and the birthday party but you’re going to miss the talent show and Mary can’t possibly go to gymnastics.
Yeah, that’s the day the your 18 year old will need to go to the emergency room (at least waiting in the lobby gives me time to write blog posts).
I don’t know about you, but I need a life with wider margins– I want some time to read a book, stir up banana bread, eat breakfast. Remind me of that if I get ambitious.
p.s. that prescription for my bronchitis you offered me, Shelah? I’ll take it.
Sue
Glad you have a good friend to share some antibiotics with you. I know we’re not supposed to do that according to the doctors, but if it’s a full course…I say, have at it!
(I send a z-pack to my brother every winter because he refuses to go to the doctor for his yearly bronchitis.)

Days like that leave my head spinning. Step back and take a deep breath. Tomorrow is a new day!

Oh, Michelle. What a nightmare day. I hope that Ben’s OK. And yes, by all means, tell May to stop being so crazy. What does he think he is, December?
